Role: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Onsite, Full time)
Zenon are recruiting on behalf of an Air Cargo Operator based in the London Heathrow area for a Maintenance Planner on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Continuously reviewing the maintenance forecast and planning all scheduled maintenance efficiently (cost and time).
- Rigorously planning all maintenance, ensuring the required spares and resources are detailed and available for the maintenance input.
- Creating line and base work packages and work orders using AMOS, detailing maintenance tasks for line and base maintenance input.
- Issuing work packages and work orders to Part 145 MROs with clear instructions of any specific requirements.
- Ensuring that all paperwork cleared by the Part 145 MRO on base maintenance is correctly certified and reported back in AMOS.
- Following completion of the maintenance input, ensuring all paperwork within the work package or work order is returned and fully completed.
- Updating aircraft computer records and aircraft and engine logbooks and associated paperwork.
- Using AMOS to update all aircraft computer records and logbooks from completed work packages or work orders, and updating any associated tracking/record sheets.
- Assisting audits by preparing aircraft records and reports as required.
- Preparing and sending completed work packages and work orders for archiving and assisting with archiving duties.
- Undertaking reasonable duties in accordance with general role requirements and being flexible with changing priorities.
- Deputising for the Maintenance Planning/AMP Manager as required.
- Ensuring paperwork is correctly certified, reported back in AMOS, and returned to the CAMO after maintenance input.
- Sending work packages to MROs after contents review post contract agreement.
- Performing record audits of subcontracted organisations in line with procedures.
- Working closely with the Maintenance Planning/AMP Manager and the CAMO Team to ensure the Maintenance Program remains effective and compliant.
- Collaborating with Maintenance Control Engineers, Technical Service Engineers, Supply Chain, CAMO and other departments to support maintenance planning activities.
- Contributing to continuous improvement across processes, systems and team working.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Maintenance Planning with direct experience of maintaining aircraft, including planning, forecasting and scheduling.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Critical Task and CDCCL fundamentals.
- Recognised previous Part M/CAMO experience within an Aviation environment.
- Expert AMOS knowledge as a key user with deep system architecture understanding.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of Part CAMO regulations with respect to planning and record retention requirements.
- Working knowledge of Aircraft Weight and Balance schedules.
- Working knowledge of MSG-3 Maintenance Task Analysis.
- Knowledge of the Aviation industry, specifically airline operations.
