About the Role: Our client is proud to support the Integrated Merlin Operational Support (IMOS) and Aircraft Engineering Support and Aviation Support (AESAS) at RNAS Culdrose, delivering activities ranging from the repair and maintenance of military aircraft to off‑aircraft support services. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will support Aircraft Engineering services across both AESAS and IMOS contracts, ensuring operational deliverables and interfaces are met in a highly regulated environment.
Eligibility: Applicants must be living in the UK and not require sponsorship to work in a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical work on Merlin aircraft.
- Ensure compliance with naval air publications and CIETP.
- Maintain health and safety standards, including COSHH regulations and tool control practices.
- Manage lean operating procedures and contribute to engineering and asset management systems.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of approximately 3 years working in an airworthiness environment with relevant Merlin aircraft experience.
- Certificate of Competency for Supervisory level (ability to hold).
- Previous experience and good working knowledge of Merlin aircraft engineering and systems, Merlin aircraft servicing and support equipment, lean operating procedures, and naval air publications/CIETP.
- Knowledge of health and safety, COSHH regulations, and tool control and quality practices.
- Understanding of engineering and asset management systems; completed or able to complete a maintenance human factors course.
