Location: London Stansted Airport, Essex, England

Position: AOG Engineer (Permanent, Onsite, Full time)

Job Purpose: Day‑to‑day management of aircraft line and AOG maintenance inputs and projects, ensuring certification of all inputs in accordance with current certification privileges as detailed in the organisation’s MOE.

Accountability: Ensure all maintenance is carried out to the highest standard, meeting regulatory and company standards, maintaining safety and quality, and representing the company to the aircraft owner and/or representative.

Main Responsibilities And Duties:

  • Be fully prepared to travel at short notice and respond promptly to the Jet Centre’s demanding customer base.
  • Maintain the highest standards of communication with customers and ITJC.
  • Ensure all work undertaken remains within the capabilities of the MOE and complies with aircraft registry requirements.
  • Maintain personal appearance in company uniform and adhere to appearance standards.
  • Be solely responsible for the perceived ownership, equipping, stock control and replenishment of the AOG Response vehicle.
  • Ensure company vehicle appearance reflects the highest level of customer perception.
  • When not deployed on AOG activities, form part of the maintenance staff and remain ready and on standby under the Head of Maintenance.
  • Comply with company procedures, particularly Health, Quality and Safety policies.
  • Advocate and promote safety policy in the company safety system.

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized and able to prioritise work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proven ability to provide effective management of resources.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Recognised apprenticeship.
  • Current on all required types of aircraft.
  • Full unrestricted ‘B1’ or ‘B2’ license (B2 engineers must have electrical privileges).
  • Engine ground run approval.
