Role Overview

You will be working on a full range of modern Business Jets and Turboprops, gaining valuable experience and potentially working towards your Aircraft Engineers License. The successful candidate will join a long established and respected forward‑thinking company that has a proven pedigree in career development within the organisation with type and non‑type training provided to develop your skills and capabilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out assigned maintenance, repairs, and modification of aircraft and associated systems as allocated
  • Clearly record on worksheets details of the tasks completed, accurately reflecting the works performed with time booking
  • When not assigned to an aircraft, fully utilise available time productively to support the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, and personal development for career growth
  • Comply with all procedures detailed within the GAEL Maintenance Organisation Exposition
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements
  • Comply with all procedures listed in the current Staff Company Handbook
  • Any other duties commensurate with the position

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required

  • At least 2 years recent experience of working in a Base or Line Support 145 organisation in a business jet or General Aviation Environment
  • Completed a City and Guilds or diploma equivalent in aircraft engineering or relevant technical apprenticeship and/or trade qualifications
  • Can demonstrate a high level of skill across multiple disciplines, such as mechanical, structural, and power plant tasks
