Overview

I’m looking for experienced and self‑driven B1 and B2 Engineers to join our base maintenance team in South Wales. If you take pride in precision, safety and doing things properly, you’ll fit right in. You’ll be hands‑on with both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, working across a range of aircraft types to ensure every job meets Part 145 standards and our customer expectations. This role isn’t just about turning spanners – it’s about leading by example, mentoring others, and keeping operations running smoothly from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out and certifying aircraft maintenance and inspections
  • Leading technicians and mechanics through all aspects of base maintenance checks
  • Ensuring all documentation, task cards and paperwork are completed correctly and on time
  • Coordinating with planners and managers to keep work on track
  • Maintaining the highest engineering standards for safety, accuracy and quality
  • Driving good hangar practices – housekeeping, FOD prevention and continuous improvement
  • Supporting a culture of teamwork, development and accountability

Qualifications

  • Strong aircraft maintenance experience, ideally with at least 3 years in Base Maintenance
  • Strong technical understanding of aircraft systems, rigging and structural repair
  • Confidence using AMMs, task cards and recognised maintenance documentation
  • Valid UK CAA or EASA B1 or B2 Licence (issued pre‑ or post‑2020)
  • Ideally with current or recent type ratings on any Boeing or Airbus family aircraft

Nice to Have

  • Type ratings and recency on B737 (NG/CL), B757, B767 or A320 family aircraft
