Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Thursday: 10am-7pm
  • Friday: 8am-5pm

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

The Campus Testing Proctor is an essential role responsible for proctoring numerous tests and exams to groups of individuals while maintaining a secure testing environment. This position maintains confidentiality and security of all testing materials. Supports other compliance initiatives as directed by the Director of Compliance and Administration.

Key Duties:

  • Verifying valid government IDs and other legal documents.
  • Ensuring compliance with all PSI, FAA and any other regulatory body’s policies and procedures on testing.
  • Responsible for reception duties; check‐in and out of testing candidates.
  • Monitoring duties include one‐way mirror surveillance, video surveillance, and routine walk through inspections.
  • Advise students regarding testing competencies.
  • General office tasks include report writing, email communications, and over the phone customer etiquette.
  • Assist in training new testing proctors.
  • Assist with daily test center operations to ensure a safe and secure testing environment.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Campus Executive Director or Director of Compliance and Administration.

This position plays a crucial role in fostering a welcoming, compliant and secure testing environment on campus. By providing excellent customer service and support, the Campus Testing Proctor contributes to the institution's overall success and aligns with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven, compliance-oriented educational environment.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, strong work ethic, and professionalism.
  • Persuasive and effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service in an educational setting.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as collaborative team member and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills are required with proficiency in MS Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Ability and willingness to work outside of regular work shifts as necessary or as requested by Supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a testing proctor.
  • Prior experience in a college admissions environment.
