A great buy-side opportunity to join a well-capitalised, privately held alternative investment manager overseeing several billion dollars in assets, with a primary focus on real assets, including real estate and infrastructure, across the United States and Europe. This role offers exposure to complex European transactions across residential, industrial/logistics, and selected retail assets, with the team executing institutional-scale equity investments involving repositioning, leasing risk, capex programs, selective development exposure, and sophisticated structuring. This is a true investing seat with immediate responsibility, direct access to senior investment professionals, and real influence over IC-level decisions. You will work end-to-end on deals, from first underwriting through execution and close.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and evaluate new real estate investment opportunities across European markets and sectors
- Build, own, and defend detailed financial models, including sensitivities, downside cases, debt structures, taxes, and joint-venture waterfalls
- Prepare high-quality investment memoranda, IC materials, and decision-support analyses
- Support transaction execution, including structuring, negotiation of commercial terms, and documentation
- Contribute actively to thematic sourcing initiatives across logistics, residential, and related real asset strategies
- Support the training and development of junior analysts
- Work closely with asset management, finance, legal, and ESG teams during execution and post-acquisition
- Engage with external advisors including lenders, lawyers, tax advisors, and technical consultants
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of four years of analytical experience in a real estate private equity firm, investment bank or comparable investment platform
- Excellent financial modelling and transaction execution skills
- Solid understanding of real estate fundamentals across multiple European markets
- Comfortable taking ownership and defending investment views
- Strong analytical capacity combined with sound commercial judgment
- Resilient under pressure and able to adapt as facts evolve
- Fluent English; additional European language (French, Spanish, German, Italian) a plus
- Strong interest in using AI, technology, and automation to improve analysis and execution
Why This Role Stands Out
- Front-line investing role, not a support or modelling seat
- Meaningful responsibility from day one
- Broad European exposure across markets and strategies
- Clear path to developing real investment judgment
- Platform with institutional capital and an entrepreneurial culture
