A great buy‑side opportunity to join a well‑capitalised, private equity real estate firm overseeing several billion dollars in assets, with a primary focus on real assets, including real estate and infrastructure, across the United States and Europe. This role offers exposure to complex European transactions across residential, industrial/logistics, and selected retail assets, with the team executing institutional‑scale equity investments involving repositioning, leasing risk, capex programs, selective development exposure, and sophisticated structuring. This is a true investing seat with immediate responsibility, direct access to senior investment professionals, and real influence over IC‑level decisions. You will work end‑to‑end on deals, from first underwriting through execution and close.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and evaluate new real estate investment opportunities across European markets and sectors
- Build, own, and defend detailed financial models, including sensitivities, downside cases, debt structures, taxes, and joint‑venture waterfalls
- Prepare high‑quality investment memoranda, IC materials, and decision‑support analyses
- Support transaction execution, including structuring, negotiation of commercial terms, and documentation
- Contribute actively to thematic sourcing initiatives across logistics, residential, and related real asset strategies
- Support the training and development of junior analysts
- Work closely with asset management, finance, legal, and ESG teams during execution and post‑acquisition
- Engage with external advisors including lenders, lawyers, tax advisors, and technical consultants
