We our looking for a new member of our Selection Team. The role will involve:

Travelling to and from Aviagen farms to gather data
-
Assessing and recording a range of welfare traits in chickens
-
Developing and testing new methods of data collection
A normal working week consists of 47 hours (inclusive of travelling time) over 2 rotas:
-
5 days: Sunday to Thursday
-
5 days: Mon – Friday replacing every 5th Friday with a Sunday
No experience is required as full training will be given; after this training, it is expected you will be comfortable and confident handling live chickens. The successful candidate will be an excellent team player and possess good communication skills. A full driving licence is essential. To ensure our farms are bio-secure, Aviagen employees cannot own or house any wild or domesticated birds.
