Acron Aviation is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to drive integrated marketing activities across its Flight Data Intelligence (FDI) business. This is a broad and commercially focused role, responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that generate qualified demand, strengthen brand positioning, and support revenue growth across the FDI portfolio.
Working closely with sales and product stakeholders, the Senior Marketing Specialist will be accountable for delivering a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through a combination of demand generation campaigns, marketing automation, event strategy and execution, search engine marketing (SEM), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), digital content, and thought leadership initiatives. The role will also play a key part in enhancing Acron Aviation's visibility and reputation within the global aviation safety and operational performance market.
Reports directly to the Director, Sales & Commercial and works closely with the Sales Manager and broader Flight Data Intelligence commercial team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded marketing professional to shape marketing strategy, influence business growth, and contribute directly to the success of a leading aviation technology business.
Demand Generation & Campaign Management- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support business objectives, generate qualified leads, and contribute directly to revenue growth across the Flight Data Intelligence portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with sales and product teams to align marketing activities with commercial priorities and customer needs.
- Drive the business's digital marketing strategy, maximizing visibility and engagement across traditional search engines and AI-powered answer platforms through SEO, SEM, AEO, content optimization, and website performance improvements.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve website traffic, conversion rates, and lead quality.
- Strengthen Acron Aviation Flight Data Intelligence's market position through compelling messaging, content development, customer success stories, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Support the development of product positioning and value propositions that differentiate Acron Aviation within aviation safety and operations.
- Manage marketing automation programs, lead nurture workflows, and customer engagement initiatives to support pipeline development and customer retention.
- Establish and report on KPIs, providing regular insight into campaign effectiveness and marketing’s contribution to pipeline and ROI.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize marketing performance and inform future strategy.
- Conduct ongoing competitor analysis, customer research, and industry monitoring to identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential risks.
- Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of industry events, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and customer engagement activities.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to maximize event ROI, brand visibility, and lead generation opportunities.
- Monitor and triage inbound marketing enquiries.
- Support initial qualification and routing of leads.
- Coordinate customer demonstrations and commercial follow-up activities as required.
- Support the creation of RFP responses.
- Support the development of sales collateral and marketing materials.
- Provide marketing support for new business development activities and strategic initiatives.
- Support additional sales and commercial requirements as needed.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within technology, SaaS, aviation, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering successful demand generation and lead nurturing programs that contribute to business growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing disciplines, including SEO, SEM, marketing automation, content marketing, email marketing, and social media.
- Experience using multiple AI large language models (LLMs) to augment and enhance marketing activities.
- Experience managing marketing automation and CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Zymplify, Mailchimp, or equivalent.
- Experience planning and delivering trade shows, conferences, webinars, and customer-facing events.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, measure performance, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience using Google Analytics (GA4) and other marketing performance and reporting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
