An onsite project technician is required to be based at one of our client sites in Canary Wharf London. The project technician will report daily to the project lead (AVI-SPL) and function as an extension of their team. His/her responsibilities include the support of av deployment as the project dictates, working with AV vendors assigned to the project and the customer\’s management team. The Onsite Project Technicians responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support project installation teams in accordance with client standards. Fulfil project tasks dictated by client and project management team. Field service support of networked devices (Routers, IP Protocols, etc.). Working within a team shift pattern set out by the management. Performs other AV related tasks as directed by the client. Decommissioning and redeployment of video conferencing systems as necessary. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of various audio/video systems. Field knowledge of networked devices (Routers, IP Protocols, etc.). Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control. Ability to supervise installation teams during integration and commissioning. Sign off for handover to client of all in scope AV spaces. Ensure all AV spaces are presentable, ready for use, and in line with the client’s expectations. Deputise when required for project manager and client for London works. Basic computer knowledge Knowledge of various audio/video systems.
