What You’ll Do

  • Proficiently develop, recommend, implement, and administer human resources policies and procedures for the onboarding team; ensure the preparation and maintenance of these guidelines.
  • Plan, organize, and exercise control over all activities within the Human Resources Onboarding department; actively participate in developing departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the Human Resource Director, providing valuable insights and direction regarding ongoing initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of engaging new hire presentations.
  • Oversee and lead all Employee Relations issues; advise, coach and support leaders and managers as a subject matter expert in all HR matters.
  • Own a number of Key Projects to support the delivery of the UK&I HR priorities.
  • Work with the Recruitment Manager to promote the company, build its employer brand and ensure its visibility to potential employees and business partners.
  • Embed performance management and help build high performing teams.
  • Create a values‑driven culture by regularly communicating and embedding the AVI‑SPL Values.
  • Lead on the AVI‑SPL reward and recognition schemes.
  • Continuously work towards improving all HR KPIs.
  • Identify disputes and areas of dissatisfaction before they become a problem and seek to resolve them to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Ensure all key HR and People processes are implemented and embedded successfully throughout the business, including induction, probation, and annual performance reviews.
