AVEVA is establishing a new philanthropic ‘Tech for Good’ program, with the ambition to drive digital innovation in support of key global challenges around access to clean energy, resilient water systems, clean air, biodiversity and responsible technology. We are seeking a Manager, Tech for Good Partnerships & Employee Activation to design, deliver, and oversee this program. Your role is to drive programmatic alignment across initiatives and stakeholders while maintaining project governance and accountability. This role requires strong project management skills to coordinate with workstream owners, ensure successful and timely implementation of program pillars, design customized partnership models, manage volunteer engagement at scale, and deliver measurable impact. Reporting into the Sustainability Reporting and Engagement Lead, you will own end-to-end program delivery, stakeholder alignment, and impact measurement.
Key responsibilities
- Partnership Development & Relationship Management
- Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with nonprofits and foundations that would benefit from AVEVA software and employee expertise.
- Develop and maintain a strategic partnership portfolio, overseeing AVEVA’s investment across software, employee volunteers and other categories, to drive maximum impact.
- Conduct needs assessments with prospective partners to understand how AVEVA’s Tech For Good investment could support them to meet their strategic priorities.
- Build trust-based relationships with nonprofit leaders to support innovation adoption, emphasizing shared values and long-term impact.
- In-Kind Software Partnerships
- Design customized in-kind software donation models to drive digital innovation in support of nonprofit priorities, aligned with AVEVA's strategic giving focus.
- Support our implementation partners to identify and refer organizations that would benefit from AVEVA's software and/or support.
- Scope technology requirements and coordinate with AVEVA product, implementation, and services teams to support NGO onboarding, training, implementation, and ongoing success.
- Develop partnership agreements that clearly define software access, support timelines, implementation milestones, and success metrics.
- Employee Volunteering
- Design and launch signature employee volunteer programs that leverage AVEVA talent (software training, implementation support, strategic advisory, etc.).
- Establish and oversee a digital platform to engage AVEVA volunteers.
- Develop a system to match employee skills with partner needs, coordinating volunteer engagements to ensure meaningful contribution and learning.
- Track volunteer participation, hours, and outcomes to assess impact and engage employees in the program.
- Advance our volunteer culture by recognizing employee contributions and showcasing the meaningful impact AVEVA creates through its people.
- Program Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with AVEVA teams to co-design technical support for partnerships, via software, technical consultancy, and training.
- Collaborate with teams, including HR and Communications, to design and promote employee volunteering opportunities and celebrate program impact.
- Align partnerships with AVEVA's 2030 sustainability ambitions and broader ESG strategy.
- Coordinate with AVEVA’s Enterprise IT function and relevant stakeholders from our parent company to successfully operationalize the volunteering platform.
- Maintain program management resources, including project dashboards, timelines and statuses to track partnerships and volunteer initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery of key milestones.
- Manage program budget allocation across key Tech for Good pillars, tracking spending against commitments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, international development, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in project management, with aptitude for managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience identifying and cultivating relationships with nonprofit or foundation stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences (nonprofits, executives, employees).
- Proven ability to develop and implement programs with attention to impact measurement and outcomes.
- Self-motivated, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Preference for background in social impact initiatives, sustainability, and ESG with experience managing volunteer databases.
