This role reports to the Senior Security Incident Manager and assists in coordinating and managing information security incidents from detection through to response, containment and remediation.
The analyst will oversee cyber incident coordination, provide governance, and advise on containment, eradication, and remediation. The position requires strong technical, decision‑making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in coordinating security incidents and providing updates to senior management during live incidents and post‑incident calls.
- Create Root Cause Analysis reports to document learnings and improve incident resolution quality.
- Manage all security incident distributions, ensuring timely communication to stakeholders.
- Report on Security SLA and KPI performance to stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining the AVEVA Security Incident Plan in alignment with operational plans.
- 3‑5 years of information and cyber security experience in a similar IT or security incident response role.
- Excellent coordination skills across all technical and executive levels.
- Experience in a technology company or similar environment.
- Willingness to work out of hours.
- Ability to write clear, non‑technical reports on complex incidents for senior management.
- Interpersonal skills to collaborate across all business units and seniority levels.
- Self‑starter and well‑organized.
