We are recruiting for a Private Markets Wealth Consultant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong Wealth markets knowledge and experience with developing (either from an investment strategy perspective or product development) private markets funds to join us on a 6 month fixed term contract basis.

A bit about the role:

We are seeking a Private Markets Wealth Consultant specialising in private markets to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract, bringing consultancy expertise to drive key strategic initiatives within our Wealth channel. You will work closely with our Investment and Distribution teams, providing strategic advice on product design, structures and investment strategies tailored to the Wealth market, informed by client feedback and competitive insights. This will include attending client meetings to offer expert guidance, analysing market trends and opportunities, and supporting the development of product governance materials, ensuring all Idea and Feasibility stage requirements are met with appropriate stakeholder engagement and approvals. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining product strategy, advising on optimal vehicles and characteristics, and ensuring successful delivery of private market products aligned to business objectives.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience developing private markets products in the UK and/or European Wealth market is a must.
  • Strong experience in private markets investment strategies.
  • Proven experience in product structuring, particularly for the Wealth channel.
  • Strong market awareness, with ability to analyse trends and competitor landscape.
  • Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

  • Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.
  • 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days (prorated to reflect the duration of the fixed term contract)!
  • Aviva-funded Private Medical Benefit to help you get expert support when you need it.
  • Make your money go further with up to 40% discount on Aviva products, and other retailer discounts.
  • Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and share in the success of Aviva with our Save As You Earn scheme.
  • Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer’s leave.
  • Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work.
  • Make a difference, be part of our Aviva Communities and use your 3 annual volunteering days to help others.
