Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the inbound SDR team, ensuring timely follow-up on marketing leads, adherence to SLAs, and consistent flow of quality opportunities to Sales.
- Define, monitor, and enforce operational standards across lead qualification, outreach cadence, hand-off protocols, and CRM data quality.
- Track team performance: set KPIs, forecast pipeline, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements.
- Coach and develop SDRs through regular 1:1s, performance feedback, onboarding, and training; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive operational excellence by creating and standardizing lead‑engagement materials, outreach sequences, and discovery frameworks.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Sales and Marketing to optimize inbound funnel performance, ensuring high conversion rates and healthy opportunity progression.
- Maintain clear analytics and reporting: build dashboards, analyze team metrics, and share actionable insights with leadership.
Essential requirements
- Proven experience leading high-volume inbound SDR or sales development teams in a B2B environment (SaaS, industrial tech, or similar), with measurable success in pipeline generation and management.
- Strong business acumen, with a solid grasp of lead-to-opportunity workflows, qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, MEDDPICC), and how SDR output impacts revenue.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills; adept at developing early-career professionals and building a motivated, results‑driven team culture.
- Process‑oriented and analytical, with experience designing and scaling operational workflows, and performance metrics/reporting.
- Skilled in modern SDR technology stacks, including CRM (Salesforce), sales engagement tools (Outreach, Salesloft, HubSpot), and lead intelligence platforms (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Strong cross‑functional collaborator, able to influence and align Sales and Marketing leadership around shared pipeline goals and performance outcomes.
- Proactive, goal‑oriented, and adaptable leader who thrives in evolving, fast‑paced environments, and drives continuous improvement through accountability and execution.
