The Job
You will be part of AVEVA's global communications team assisting with the management of the global public relations program and PR agency network; working directly with the Global PR Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the global PR agencies across the UK and US in partnership with the Global PR Team Leader, ensuring alignment, consistency, and high-quality execution across markets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with tier-one and specialist trade media in the UK to secure high-impact coverage and meaningful opportunities for AVEVA executives.
- Help to build and elevate the external reputation of AVEVA's executive leaders by defining their media positioning, developing thought-leadership content, and managing comprehensive interview and content preparation.
- Help to ensure integration with the broader corporate priorities and cross-functional teams, including our parent company Schneider Electric.
- Lead on the creation of external communications assets, including press releases, bylines, briefing books, award submissions, commentary, and other long-form content that elevates AVEVA's narrative.
- Assist with the strategic planning and execution for major global events and milestone moments, such as AVEVA World, COP, SXSW and Climate Week to maximise visibility and influence.
- Own global reporting, competitive benchmarking, and share-of-voice analysis, overseeing outputs from the PR and Social Executive.
Essential requirements
- Extended and strong experience managing global PR programmes within the technology sector.
- Established relationships with tier-one media and evidence of securing high-impact coverage for senior executives or complex technology organisations.
- Experience developing and executing integrated communications strategies, including thought leadership, content development, and messaging frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-profile global events, reputational moments, and executive visibility initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Ability to build strong relationships in a global working environment while collaborating effectively with all cross-organisational functions.

- Experience working within a global matrixed technology organisation, collaborating closely with product, marketing, analyst relations, and executive leadership teams.
