The job
Working in the role of Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President of Research and Development (R&D) within our well-established, dynamic, global company. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive executive support to them as well as supporting in the management of key stakeholder relationships and facilitating the link between them and all facets of the organization.
You will have interpersonal and communication skills to develop positive, productive work relationships, as well as the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and act with tact and diplomacy at all levels.Making administrative and procedural decisions, with sound judgement on sensitive, confidential, urgent issues working under minimal supervision and in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills, a methodical, efficient approach, and a real attention to detail are essential for this role.
Key responsibilities
- Calendar & Scheduling:Manage the EVP’s calendar, coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel; ensure readiness for all engagements.
- Communication:Handle correspondence on behalf of the EVP, including emails, calls, and document preparation.
- Project Support:Assist with R&D project tracking, milestone monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Travel Management:Organise domestic and international travel, including itineraries and expense processing.
- Information Management:Maintain confidential records and support data analysis and research.
- Event Coordination:Support planning and logistics for meetings, events, and presentations.
- Executive Liaison:Act as a key point of contact between the EVP and internal stakeholders; manage ad-hoc tasks and special projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Proven experience in an executive assistant or similar role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
