We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic user researcher and research ops coordinator to join the user research & experience team at AVEVA. You will join a team that researches user experiences across the whole portfolio of industrial software products in different industries and markets. The role focuses on generating robust, defensible user insight to inform strategic, tactical, and operational decisions across multiple teams, systems, and user types. In addition to performing research, you will be supporting the research operations across the UX team.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct user research across complex enterprise ecosystems and multiple time zones.
  • Manage recruitment across studies including consent, scheduling, registration, and attendance.
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative research at scale, synthesising insights across teams, products, and programmes.
  • Produce, edit and upload digital content including audio-visual material onto research portals.
  • Communicate complex findings clearly to senior stakeholders and decision‑makers.
  • Manage user research tools including research repositories, booking systems etc.
  • Support and mentor UX team members to conduct research.

Essential requirements

  • Demonstrable experience conducting user research in large‑scale, enterprise or complex organisational contexts.
  • Strong synthesis skills, translating complex data into actionable insight.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience working across multiple teams and influencing without direct authority.
  • Self-motivated, able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work, both independently and as part of a global team.
  • Capable of multi-tasking, meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment.

Desired skills and competencies

  • Experience in B2B or Enterprise environments.
  • Some working knowledge of other languages.
  • Prepared to travel when possible.

Hybrid working

We work in a hybrid way at AVEVA. Most roles are based at a local AVEVA office, with an expectation of being on-site 50% of your working hours to support collaboration and connection. Some positions are fully office-based depending on the nature of the work, and certain roles that support specific customers or markets may be remote. The working arrangement for this position will be confirmed during the hiring process.
