The Product Manager – Unified Supply Chain (USC) Schedule will be part of the USC Portfolio team, reporting to the USC Lead. You will be accountable for the strategy, success, and growth of the USC Schedule product, ensuring it delivers clear, measurable value to our customers and to AVEVA. You will lead a durable, cross-functional product team across R&D and Portfolio, bringing market insight, customer problems, and business context directly into the team. You will foster a strong product culture by aligning stakeholders around a shared vision, energizing the team, and ensuring everyone understands how their work contributes to product success.
You will act as the product evangelist and glue between customers, users, development, and commercial teams, defining and executing product strategy from discovery and prioritization through to adoption and business outcomes – always grounded in customer jobs-to-be-done. You will be required to travel periodically.
Key responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for USC Schedule in alignment with AVEVA and USC strategy.
- Translate customer jobs-to-be-done and market trends into clear priorities and investment decisions by engaging with customers, users, partners, and subject matter experts.
- Act as a core leader within the cross-functional product team (R&D, Portfolio, UX, and others), providing clarity, context, and energy.
- Champion a customer-centric, outcome-oriented product culture, where decisions are grounded in data, insight, and customer value.
- Lead voice of customer engagements and early adopter programs to gather structured feedback and usage insights to refine the product and drive stronger adoption.
- Work closely with Sales, Services and Support to understand product adoption, win/loss drivers and renewal drivers, and take ownership of addressing product-specific feedback.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market activities such as product positioning and pricing. Support marketing and sales enablement activities.
- Monitor industry and technology trends in oil and gas refining, petrochemicals, and adjacent markets to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
Essential requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in the scheduling and execution planning domain in any of oil and gas refining, petrochemicals, or specialty chemicals industries.
- Familiarity with industrial supply chain management digital tools and digital transformation.
- Strong customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering customer value.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Strong storytelling skills to explain complex product concepts and value proposition.
- Data-driven, using metrics to inform priorities and measure outcomes.
- Comfortable making product trade-offs and shaping investment strategy to support both short-term outcomes and long-term growth.
- Good understanding of cloud services, SaaS and hybrid models, and their influence on product design and operations.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices.
- Experience in customer-facing roles in Enterprise / SaaS / B2B engineering or industrial software.

- Ideally the candidate has previous product management experience.
- Experience in working across diverse, geographically distributed teams and regions.

Hybrid working
