The Business System Owner for the Outreach platform is responsible for ensuring Outreach effectively enables AVEVA’s global sales organisation in their New Business Acquisition efforts. You will own the platform’s capabilities, governance, integrations, and continuous improvement, while ensuring that end users across all regions receive a smooth, productive, and compliant experience.

You will collaborate closely with Sales, IT, Marketing, and Global Process Owners to ensure Outreach seamlessly connects with Salesforce, Marketo, and our list‑creation ecosystem—including Cognism, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo—to support efficient, data‑driven prospecting and campaign execution.

Key responsibilities
  • Platform Ownership & Governance
    • Serve as the accountable business owner for the Outreach platform
    • Define and maintain platform governance, including configuration standards, role structures, compliance frameworks, and documentation
    • Manage licensing, user access, and region/market configurations
    • Own backlog prioritisation and partner with IT and vendors across enhancements, testing, and release cycles
  • User Experience, Support & Adoption
    • Lead initiatives to improve end‑user experience, including onboarding, training, and self‑service guidance
    • Build user‑focused processes that improve adoption and productivity across sales teams
    • Act as the escalation point for user issues and coordinate resolution across technical and business teams
    • Monitor adoption, usage patterns, and campaign execution to identify opportunities for improvement
  • System Configuration & Data Management
    • Ensure accurate, high‑quality CRM integration between Outreach, Salesforce, and Marketo
    • Manage data flows, mapping rules, sync rules, and data hygiene standards
    • Configure automation rules, segmentation logic, workflow schedules, task routing, and sequence approval processes
    • Ensure GDPR‑compliant data handling and management of opt‑in/opt‑out processes
  • Operational Support for Sales Productivity
    • Oversee list creation and ingestion processes using Cognism, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other approved prospecting tools
    • Manage the cleaning, segmentation, enrichment, and routing of prospects into Outreach
    • Support sales and marketing teams with campaign setup, sequence deployment, personalisation workflows, and task assignments
    • Partner with Sales to ensure lists and sequences align with campaign objectives and target personas
  • Performance Management & Reporting
    • Define SLAs, KPIs, and performance indicators for Outreach and Campaign effectiveness in partnership with IT and Sales Ops
    • Build dashboards and reporting structures to monitor engagement, effectiveness, and platform health
    • Identify stalled prospects, overdue tasks, and operational gaps, and drive corrective action
Essential requirements
  • Deep practical knowledge of the Outreach platform, including sequencing, contact management, campaign execution, and prospect workflows
  • Experience using Cognism, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar list‑generation/prospecting tools
  • Strong knowledge of B2B sales processes and sales technology ecosystems
Desired skills
  • Experience managing enterprise platforms including vendor interactions, budgeting, and roadmap planning
  • Ability to define business requirements, articulate value, and translate needs into system changes
  • Proven experience managing structured change processes across a global organisation
