Job Title: Procure to Pay Process Lead (P2P)

Location: Cambridge, hybrid

Employment Type: Full-time

The job

To create high performing, standardised end-to-end P2P processes which drives value throughout the AVEVA organisation, and which constantly evolve to meet the needs of our evolving business.

Improve AVEVA’s P2P processes through a focus on the design, control, operation, and improvement of existing and new processes. Ensure process implementation meets these four principles.

Responsibilities

Design

  • Global standard processes
  • End-to-end process design
  • Fit for purpose – simple, practical, and scalable

Control

  • Embedded financial controls in the P2P Process, systemised as a default
  • Risks are identified, documented, and mitigated
  • Demonstrable controls which are continuously tested

Operate

  • KPI and metric driven process measurement
  • Identification and remediation of operational process gaps
  • Processes are aligned to our organisational design principles

Improve

  • Change projects deliver on the process principles
  • P2P automation is a constant priority
  • Manual processes are targeted for simplifying and streamlining

What does this mean in practice?

  • Continuously challenge how the processes are working
  • Defining end-to-end process ensuring key principles are met
  • Collaborate with the key stakeholders to identify improvements and enhancements to P2P processes
  • Working in collaboration with the Procurement team and Travel & Expenses team in designing end-to-end processes
  • Establish a thorough P2P Taxonomy which incorporates the end-to-end P2P landscape
  • Create and update specific policies for the parts of P2P which have no guidance
  • Create and sign off Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which support the P2P Taxonomy
  • Ensure all P2P processes are mapped within Business Optix
  • Establish both KPIs and Metrics which measure process efficiency
  • Establish routine process governance meetings with stakeholders
  • At least bi-annually, perform a review of all P2P processes with the key stakeholders
  • Lead the Process Analysts including performance management, goal setting and development
  • Work in collaboration with the other process leads and project SMEs to ensure system and process change meets the key principles
