We are searching for an experienced Investigations Manager to join our Internal Audit function, reporting to the Investigations and Intelligence Director. The Investigations Manager conducts professional, impartial investigations into potential violations of law and/or AVEVA policies at the overall direction of the Speak Up Review Team and the Head of Internal Audit, and may also be called upon to support on highly sensitive and complex investigations led by the Investigations and Intelligence Director.
Key responsibilities- Conduct bespoke, comprehensive, impartial, and professional investigations into potential violations of law or AVEVA policies, under the direction of the Investigations and Intelligence Director.
- Draft investigation plans, balancing tenacious, detail-oriented fact-finding with sound judgement on when to conclude enquiries.
- Conduct investigative interviews with emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.
- Identify, collect and thoroughly analyse documentary evidence and data from a variety of AVEVA systems.
- Provide regular updates on investigation progress.
- Prepare high quality written investigation reports which include clearly documented findings, evidence-based conclusions and recommendations for the business to consider.
- Provide support to the Investigations and Intelligence Director during high-profile, sensitive and/or complex investigations.
- Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity, observing confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Solid knowledge of investigations best practice and relevant legal frameworks.
- Several years of experience in investigations. Experience in a corporate setting is essential.
- Experience working both independently and cross-functionally within a global environment is essential.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Experience with investigative interview techniques is essential.
- Experience in, and enthusiasm for, handling Respect in the Workplace matters (e.g. harassment, discrimination) preferred.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities while maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Additional experience with SalesForce and PowerBI preferred.
- Ability to travel globally to AVEVA locations as necessary and at short notice.
- Flexibility to adjust working hours when necessary to support investigations across time zones.
- Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in additional languages is desirable.
