AVEVA is creating software trusted by over 90% of leading industrial companies. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Apprentice to join our team. The IT Apprentice will support the End User Services team by assisting in the areas of end user services, desktop support, and customer support. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and foundational skills within IT services like hardware and software troubleshooting, desktop support, offering valuable exposure to real-world IT environments.
The role:
- Assist with hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Onboarding and offboarding of employees from an IT support standpoint.
- Support end-users with IT-related issues, both onsite and remotely.
- Help maintain IT documentation and asset inventory.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and deployment.
- Basic network troubleshooting.
- Audio visuals: Supporting MS Teams based meetings and conference rooms.
- Research and suggest improvements in IT processes.
Required skills:
- Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and networking.
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Mac OS environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
