The Job
You will be responsible for the planning, development, and delivery of keynote experiences for AVEVA's flagship events, including AVEVA World, IGNITE, and key AVEVA Days globally. Working closely with executive stakeholders, marketing, communications, product teams, and production partners, you will lead the end-to-end keynote process, ensuring all speakers, presentations, demonstrations, videos, and production elements come together to create a compelling and seamless audience experience. This role focuses on programme leadership, stakeholder management, and production excellence rather than content creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Programme Design
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of keynote programmes for AVEVA World.
- Define keynote objectives, audience journey, programme structure, and run of show in partnership with stakeholders for AVEVA World.
- Oversee the integration of presentations, customer stories, product demonstrations, creative assets, videos, and stage elements into a cohesive keynote experience.
- Support regional marketing to deliver compelling, impactful and centrally aligned keynotes across their core AVEVA Day programme.
- Stakeholder & Executive Management
- Act as the central point of coordination across executives, marketing, communications, product teams, customers, agencies, and production partners.
- Manage executive and guest speaker engagement, including briefing, preparation, rehearsals, and onsite supporting in conjunction with leads.
- Speaker & Talent Sourcing
- Lead sourcing, and contracting external speakers and talent for keynotes.
- Source, brief and contract any opening entertainment.
- Co-ordinate on-site logistics such as external speaker (VIP or customer) and talent travel and transport, accommodation and F&B needs.
- Speaker Management & Readiness
- Develop speaker briefing materials.
- Manage and co-ordinate rehearsal schedules and onsite rehearsals.
- Provide onsite speaker support and coaching to ensure confident delivery.
- Production & Show Delivery
- Manage the run of show and onsite delivery.
- Manage rehearsal schedules and onsite rehearsals.
- Oversee integration of presentations, customer stories, product demonstrations, videos, and stage elements.
- Manage production of housekeeping and walk on slides.
- Create and execute engaging customer onsite experiences ensuring audience enjoyment and participation.
- Oversee the development of creative content in collaboration with the design team, ensuring presentation slides are delivered on schedule, in the correct format and for each session.
- Co-ordinate with production partner on allocated roles and responsibilities on the RACI in relation to onsite delivery (audience load in, executive producer, show caller, green room management, BOH (behind of house) protocol, VIP management, etc.).
- Project Management & Governance
- Develop and manage keynote timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
- Ensure all details of keynotes are provided to comms team and up to date across website and event app.
- Budget & Vendor Management
- Support selection of appropriate production partners and vendors.
- Own and manage the AVEVA World General Session budget, ensuring delivery within approved financial parameters.
- Manage keynote agencies, vendors, and production partners timelines and day to day contact.
- Work with internal content studio and production partners on stage and room design.
- Procurement and vendor management.
Success Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Successful delivery of impactful keynote experiences across AVEVA World, IGNITE, and AVEVA Days.
- High levels of executive, speaker, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Achievement of keynote engagement and performance KPIs.
- Delivery within budget and agreed timelines.
- Demonstrable year-on-year improvements in keynote quality, audience engagement, and event outcomes.

Hybrid working
We work in a hybrid way at AVEVA. Most roles are based at a local AVEVA office, with an expectation of being on-site 50% of your working hours to support collaboration and connection.
