This is an early‑career role for someone eager to learn, proactive, and excited to work across a broad and modern technology stack. The role will involve contributing to CI/CD, infrastructure automation, security and compliance, and service reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build scalable AWS SaaS services: design, develop, and support highly available platform components.
  • Develop integrations and serverless capabilities: deliver and maintain APIs with API Gateway, Lambda, event‑driven workflows, and identity/SCIM integrations with AVEVA CONNECT.
  • Operate and improve cloud environments: support desktop streaming (Amazon WorkSpaces Applications) and Windows‑centric infrastructure (EC2, FSx, Active Directory, DynamoDB) with strong observability and cost/performance focus.
  • Deliver securely with automation and teamwork: write clean, tested, documented, deployable code; contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure automation (Azure Pipelines, CloudFormation, Step Functions); collaborate in agile planning, troubleshoot issues, communicate risks, and continuously learn.
Essential Requirements
  • Proactive, self‑starting, and ownership‑driven – takes initiative and cares about quality and production behaviour.
  • Curious and growth‑mindset – eager to learn new technologies, approaches, and continuously improve.
  • Able to work independently in a distributed team – manages time well, operates autonomously, and stays accountable.
  • Resilient, collaborative communicator – positive with challenges, asks questions, shares knowledge, and communicates clearly in writing and verbally.
Desired Skills and Competencies
  • AWS & cloud foundations: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM/security groups; awareness of serverless (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB), containers (Docker, ECS), and monitoring (CloudWatch, Datadog).
  • Software engineering & languages: practical development experience in C# and JavaScript/TypeScript (Angular/Node.js), comfortable across multiple languages, with solid Git‑based workflows.
  • DevOps & delivery: understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Azure Pipelines) and infrastructure automation/IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform or similar).
  • Windows & security fundamentals: Windows administration (AD, Group Policy, PowerShell), enterprise deployment/packaging awareness, and security best practices (SSO/SCIM, least privilege, encryption, network segmentation).
