The AVEVA Finance Apprenticeship is an exciting opportunity to join AVEVA as an apprentice within our Finance function. The apprentice will gain hands‑on experience via regular rotations in various areas within Finance, such as Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Commercial Operations, and more. The apprentice will also study towards the Finance Data Analyst Level 3 Qualification and may take optional AAT Level 3 papers. Approximately six hours per week will be dedicated to studying and learning. Apprentices receive support from a dedicated career manager, rotation manager, and programme director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in rotation projects, each lasting six months, covering areas including Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Commercial Operations, and other finance functions.
  • Process supplier invoices related to purchase orders.
  • Post general ledger journal entries and perform financial reconciliations.
  • Process software sales orders through order management and fulfilment systems.
  • Support compliance, controls, and related processes in a global software environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum GCSE: 4 in both English and Maths.
  • Good understanding of MS Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • A keen interest in beginning a career in finance.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and a great team player aligned with AVEVA’S values of Trust, Impact, Curiosity, and Aspiration.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
