AvetixCyber is delighted to be partnering with a scaling cybersecurity vendor with their expansion throughout EMEA and APAC. They're looking to hire an experienced Sales Engineering Leader to build, implement, and lead a best-in-class Sales Engineering strategy across the EMEA region. This role will be responsible for developing a high-performing regional SE function that partners closely with Sales to articulate technical value, solve complex customer challenges, and drive revenue growth. This is a first-line leadership role requiring a strong balance of people leadership, operational rigor, and hands-on technical engagement with customers and prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing Sales Engineering team across the UK & Europe.
- Own and execute the regional SE strategy aligned to global GTM goals.
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Marketing to drive win rates and revenue performance.
- Stay hands-on in complex enterprise deals - discovery, demos, technical validation, and POCs.
- Develop SE talent, translating deep technical requirements into clear business value.
- Drive operational rigor across CRM usage, forecasting, and sales methodology.
- Deliver enablement to keep the team sharp, consistent, and customer-ready.
- Act as a technical ambassador at customer meetings, partners, and industry events.
- Feed field insights back to Product and Engineering to shape roadmap decisions.
Experience Required:
- 5+ years leading Sales Engineering or pre-sales teams in Cybersecurity.
- 7+ years in Sales Engineering, pre-sales, or Solutions Architecture roles.
- Proven track record building and scaling high-impact teams in enterprise environments.
- Strong grasp of complex pre-sales motions and enterprise sales cycles.
- Hands-on technical depth in cloud security and automation.
- Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and APIs.
- Knowledge of security technologies including SIEM, EDR, and Cloud security.
- Confident communicator, able to influence both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Experience engaging large enterprise / Fortune 1000 customers.
Package Offer:
- Base Salary: £180k - £220k
- OTE: 75/25 Split
