Our employment practice plays a key role in helping businesses build, manage and protect their teams in fast-moving, innovative environments. We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant Employment Lawyer to join our expanding team.
The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to step into a fully supported consultancy role with:
- Highly attractive fee-share arrangement
- Immediate access to a strong pipeline of work
- Close collaboration with Employment Law Consultant Partner Gaynor Beckett
- No requirement for a following
The Role
You will work closely with founders, investors and senior management teams, delivering strategic and commercially focused employment law advice. You will also collaborate across the firm on corporate-led matters where employment issues are integral. Your work will include:
- Supporting M&A and transactional matters, including employment due diligence and advising on employment-related deal issues
- Strategic employment advice for businesses and senior individuals
- Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, consultancy agreements and workplace policies
- Advising on senior appointments, exits and settlement agreements
- Workplace disputes, grievances and terminations, with a focus on pragmatic resolution
- Redundancies, restructures and TUPE matters
- Employment tribunal claims and risk management
The role is fully flexible and can be performed remotely or on a hybrid basis.

- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
- Strong employment law experience advising businesses and senior individuals
- Able to work independently and manage your own matters (no supervision will be provided)
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Commercial, pragmatic and client-focused
- Collaborative, with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Reliable and professional
- A following is welcome but not essential
