ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents\' physical, psychological, and social well-being and to understand the need to promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
- Planning and submitting to the Home Manager- a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview.
- Arranging activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
- Maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.

- Previously worked with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting
- Experience organising activities and events.
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
