About the Role
As General Manager, you will lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person‑centred quality care to residents in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, while meeting regulatory requirements, professional and statutory standards, and business performance targets.
Other Responsibilities Will Include
- Ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care for residents based on best practice.
- Recruit, retain and develop staff within the home.
- Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, visitors and health and social care professionals involved in resident wellbeing.
- Maintain safe staffing levels in accordance with occupancy and dependency.
- Provide inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
- Manage costs within budgetary controls and monitor stock.
About You

Our Ideal Candidate Must
- Have a minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment.
- Have Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.
- Possess excellent leadership and management skills.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and be competent in IT.
- Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

- A DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
