Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, noting changes that affect care and care plans, updating records accordingly.
  • Participate in person‑centred care planning, implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
  • Support residents with medication administration.
  • Supervise staff and assist with staff development where needed.
  • Act as the key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health/social care professionals, addressing reasonable requests and escalating concerns or complaints.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar care environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing both residents and staff.
  • Responsive, flexible, and willing to cover a range of responsibilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
