Responsibilities:
- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, noting changes that affect care and care plans, updating records accordingly.
- Participate in person‑centred care planning, implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
- Support residents with medication administration.
- Supervise staff and assist with staff development where needed.
- Act as the key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health/social care professionals, addressing reasonable requests and escalating concerns or complaints.
Qualifications & Experience:
- NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar care environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing both residents and staff.
- Responsive, flexible, and willing to cover a range of responsibilities.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
