About the Role
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting their care and care plans.
- Ensure that new needs are met and written records are amended to reflect any variations.
- Participate in the person‑centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Support residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development where required.
- Act as a key point of contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
About You
- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have at least 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
