Your focus as a receptionist will be to offer professional, high quality customer service as the first point of contact within the home and to provide a range of administrative services.

Responsibilities

  • Answer the telephone and respond to enquiries at reception.
  • Redirect calls to relevant staff and record messages accordingly.
  • Complete reception‑related administration and maintain databases.
  • Provide administrative assistance as required by the General Manager.
  • Maintain the general tidiness of the reception area and liaise with Housekeeping to ensure standards are maintained.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • DBS Disclosure check (cost paid by the employer).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in using computers.
  • Positive, friendly and welcoming attitude.
  • Previous exposure to problem‑solving and handling client complaints.
