Responsibilities:

  • Support the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care.
  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and be aware of any changes that impact care plans, ensuring new needs are met and written records updated.
  • Participate in the person‑centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring and undertaking monthly evaluations.
  • Support residents with their medication requirements.
  • Undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.

Requirements:

  • DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by the employer).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
  • Responsiveness and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.
