We are now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Esher Manor Care Home in Esher. If this sounds like the place for you, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:- Provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being and understand the need to promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents.
- Identify the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of a detailed life story.
- Plan and submit to the Home Manager a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview.
- Arrange activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
- Maintain a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
To be successful in your application, you must live our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability in all that you do. Our ideal candidate must have:
- Previously worked with older people in a residential nursing dementia setting.
- Experience organising activities and events.
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
- A positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.
