We’re looking for a Food and Beverage Team Member to support the dining service at Eastbourne Gardens Care Home. Your role is to assist residents with their meals, help them choose their options, and maintain dining area cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Support residents in choosing their meal options during dining.
- Ensure dining tables are set in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Keep the front of house clean, tidy, and well‑presented, and remove and replenish dirty crockery throughout the day.
- Maintain fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods, and fresh fruit in the bistro areas.
- Be aware of residents’ dietary requirements and ensure meals meet these needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
- Show compassion and a commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.
- Have experience working in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel (desirable).
- Hold a basic Food Hygiene Certificate (beneficial).
- Undergo a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
- Provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
