We are now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Dementia Care Manager at Cliveden Manor Care Home in Buckinghamshire. If this sounds like the place for you, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Be responsible for the overall management of the Dementia Community, implementing and embedding the company's dementia care strategy and managing resources within a given budget.
- Ensure the plan of care is accurate and reflected in the care needs summary, and that the resident/relative identifies needs and preferences.
- Ensure all information is integrated into a person-centred care plan.
- Build caring relationships with residents and families, liaising with them sensitively and appropriately.
- Act as an advocate for the residents' best interests, appropriately managing conflict.
- Work closely with the Activities Team to ensure the development of meaningful activities for residents with dementia.
- Support and set expectations for the care team's participation in these activities.
- Promote a culture that enables residents to maximise their capabilities, optimise their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications- Our ideal candidate must have a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role, working within a fast-paced environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of CQC standards and requirements.
