We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Sous Chef–Bank at Elton House Care Home in Watford.
Responsibilities
- Support the head chef in leading a culinary team providing a nutritionally balanced, high‑quality culinary service.
- Prepare modified diets in accordance with IDDSI guidance.
- Supervise culinary staff.
- Understand safe food handling principles.
- Support team members in understanding the Avery food safety management system.
- Cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Qualifications
- Relevant catering qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Demonstrated compassion.
- Ability to be adaptive to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
