Your focus as a Residential Care Manager will be to manage the group of Care Supervisors within the home ensuring that a high-quality delivery of personal care is delivered to our residents. You will be an advocate for all residents, maintaining the best interests in all areas of the resident's wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Co‑ordinating the resident assessment process, ensuring that the planned care is accurate and reflected in each individual care plan.
  • Supporting, guiding and developing team members.
  • Managing the process of ensuring that all equipment is stored in line with the manufacturer's instructions and is cleaned and stored appropriately after use.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Safe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing procedures.
  • Undertaking Quality Care Spot Checks and reporting on the quality of care provided by Care Supervisors, Carers and Senior Carers within the team.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in long‑term care or a similar industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards.
  • Experience in leading a team in a similar care environment.

Additional Requirements

  • A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
