At Avery Healthcare, we support the people who care for our residents and celebrate and support our teams every step of the way. This temporary role supports the dining service and assists residents with their meals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with choosing meal options during dining.
  • Support the standard operating procedures for setting dining tables.
  • Keep the front of the house clean, tidy, and well‑presented, removing and replenishing dirty crockery throughout the day.
  • Ensure fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger food, and fruit are accessible and replenished in the bistro areas.
  • Be aware of residents' dietary requirements.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
  • Experience working in a similar setting such as a restaurant or hotel (desirable).
  • A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial.
  • Demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.

Requirements

  • Applicants must agree to a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
