ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Other responsibilities will include supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining, ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures, keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Additionally, making sure fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, and other finger foods are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day is essential. It is also important to be aware of residents dietary requirements. To be successful, you must demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene, compassion, and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents. Having experience in a similar setting like a restaurant or a hotel is desirable, and a basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.
