They are now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant to join their award-winning team in Wellingborough, working a night shift pattern.

Main duties of the job:

  • Deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, recognising and escalating clinical risks, and acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, while respecting the dignity and individuality of each individual.

Job responsibilities:

  • Shift pattern details: Rolling rota, 4 on 4 off, 8pm until 8am.

About you:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards the residents and other people in the home.
  • Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
  • Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Please note this role will require:

  • A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
