This Well-Being and Activities Coordinator role at Avery Healthcare's Middleton Lodge Care Home in Derby is an opportunity to make a positive impact on residents' lives every day. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of engaging and stimulating activities to support the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the residents. With a focus on understanding their individual needs and preferences, you will plan and coordinate a monthly activity and well-being program to promote privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment.
Main duties of the job:
- Identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents.
- Planning and submitting a monthly activity and well-being plan.
- Arranging activities and events, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
- Maintaining a safe living and working environment.
About you:

- Previously worked with older people in a residential nursing dementia setting.

This role will require an ADBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is also required.
