This role involves supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being at a care home in Virginia Water, Surrey. Main duties of the job

  • Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a variety of activities that stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
  • Maintain a safe living and working environment.
  • Contribute to the positive and professional image of the home.
  • Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition.
  • Support the ordering and preparation of supplies for upcoming activities.
  • Establish links with the local community to encourage wider community access and promote inter-generational activity.

Job responsibilities

  • Shift Details: Varied between 10 am – 6 pm and alternative weekends.
  • Assist Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a wide range of activities for residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment for residents and staff.
  • Report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
  • Support ordering and preparation of supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
  • Establish connections with local community groups (schools, spiritual groups, museums/libraries) to enhance inter-generational activity.
  • Contribute to the positive and professional image of the home.

About you

  • ADBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
