Main duties of the job
- Work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home.
- Operate according to the standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, maintaining hotel service standards.
- Carry out cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
- Understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
- Ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
About you

- Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
- Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.

- The ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Additional Information
This role will require an ADBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is also required.
