We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Other responsibilities include:
- Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting changes affecting care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and updating records accordingly.
- Participating in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development where required.
- Acting as a key point of contact for residents, relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are addressed and concerns or complaints are escalated.
About you

Our ideal candidate must:
- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
