Overview
This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be aware of changes impacting care and care plans, ensure that new needs are met, and amend written records to reflect any variation.
- Be involved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Support residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development where required.
- Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing; ensure reasonable requests are acted upon, and concerns or complaints are escalated.
