This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The role requires relevant qualifications, experience, and a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
Main duties of the job include:
- Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended accordingly.
- Being involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals.

- Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- Have 2 years experience working in a similar care environment.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

- Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
Please note this role will require:
- A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
