Aery Healthcare seeks a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to work closely with the care team and support residents’ personal care, monitoring wellbeing, and ensuring high standards of compassionate care. This permanent position requires alternate weekend shifts and offers a competitive hourly wage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the care team in delivering exceptional care services.
  • Monitor residents’ wellbeing, record changes, and update care plans.
  • Assist with medication administration and care planning.
  • Supervise and mentor staff where required.
  • Act as a central point of contact for residents, families, and health professionals, addressing concerns and requests promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar care environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive, supportive attitude towards residents and staff.
  • Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Additional Requirements

  • DBS Disclosure check – cost covered by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
